GOTS is the leading standard for organic textiles, and fabrics carrying the GOTS label (a white shirt on a round green background) represent the ultimate in ecological and sustainable production. It assures you that the fibres from which the fabrics or other products are made, were grown organically, without using insecticides or pesticides. In addition it is your assurance that the most ecological and socially responsible methods have been used throughout the entire production process. This means amongst (many) other things:

  • no GMO
  • no harmful chemicals
  • no child labour
  • no dyes or inks that have been classified as allergenic

Buttons – to minimize waste, for our shirts, the buttons we used are deadstock. They are the excess inventory manufactured, but never used after the closure of fabrics. Therefore, they are unique and limited in quantity.

Wash at maximum 40 degress gentle cycle/ Do not bleach/ Do not tumble dry/ Iron at medium temperature/ Professional dry cleaning only with PCE

The usual recommendation to wash a cotton garment is to wash it in cold water on a gentle cycle to prevent shrinking and fading. Avoid fabric softeners, as it can dull the finish. Clothesline or hanger drying is recommended. If you choose to put your cotton garment in the tumbler dryer, use medium heat. If ironing cotton, and the iron does not have a designated cotton setting, use steam and high heat.
